The newly founded “Center for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” (CAIML) has the aim to bundle and strengthen research activities in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning both in their foundations as well as in applications and to establish TU Wien as a center of excellence for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
We will celebrate the opening of the center with a keynote talk by Turing Award winner Leslie Valiant on “How to Augment Supervised Learning with Reasoning” and a panel discussion on “AI between Scientific Research and Societal Impact” with Gerhard Friedrich, James Larus, Helga Nowotny, and Paul Timmers.
